THERE IS A DOWNLOADABLE TRAILER ON THE SITE!!
The front motored, slingshot style dragsters are patterned after and built similar to the top fuel
dragsters of the 60's and early 70's. These cars are extremely challenging to drive. These
supercharged nitromethane-burning machines are capable of elapsed times in the 5-second
range with speeds approaching 250 mph. The ear-splitting quarter mile monsters utilize 90's
technology and safety equipment while maintaining the nostalgic flavor and visual appeal of a
1960's racecar. The most visual difference between a front-engined "Nostalgia" Top Fuel
dragster and a contemporary NHRA-style Top Fuel dragster is the motor-location, lack of a rear
wing and overall length or wheelbase. Currently, over 40 front engined top fuel dragsters are
active around the United States. This is why Nostalgia Dragsters are "The kings of the quarter
mile!"
