THERE IS A DOWNLOADABLE TRAILER ON THE SITE!!
The front motored, slingshot style dragsters and nostalgia funny cars are patterned after and built similar
to the top fuel dragsters and funny cars of the 60's and 70's. These cars are extremely challenging to
drive. These supercharged nitromethane-burning machines are capable of elapsed times in the 5-second
range with speeds approaching 250 mph. The ear-splitting quarter mile monsters utilize 90's technology
and safety equipment while maintaining the nostalgic flavor and visual appeal of a 1960's racecar. The
most visual difference between a front-engined "Nostalgia" Top Fuel Dragster or Funny Car and a
contemporary NHRA-style Top Fuel dragster is the motor-location, lack of a rear wing and overall length
or wheelbase, with the Funny Cars it is the body styles, nostalgia Funny Cars still look like actual cars we
all recognize. Currently, over 40 front engined top fuel dragsters and close to 80 funny cars are active
around the United States. This is why Nostalgia Drag Racing has become the racing fans favorite AND
"The kings of the quarter mile!" That is right, we STILL race the full 1/4 mile, the way drag racing was
meant to be...
